John, I'm going to answer for Will, because I know exactly were 2.250 miles north of emmiance is. From Salem Mo. ( on the way to Flat Nasty) continue south on 19 about 70 miles.( I'm, going to mapquest to check)
On edit, 41.08 miles, 59 minutes travel time, because of the curvey road it seems like 70 miles. I've been down that way for over 15 years on the current river, it is some hilly country.

Eminence MO is about 60 miles west of my place (Green acres). I'd not found Thunder Ridge yet, so Thanks, I'll check out the site.
Thanks,
Will
