Re: New guy here
Very nice jeep, I really hope you do join. I, and I'm sure at least half a dozen other members, would love to get a better look at your commando. Tom, the commando and jeepster are one and the same (jeepster commando) in 67 they made a roadster, station wagon and pick up. No I didn't know that, I looked it up. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong. Not sure what year this commando is but I'm jealous.

Re: New guy here
You're correct, the Jeepster Commando is one in the same until 72 when it was renamed just Commando and the front end was changed to the Bullnose.
Mine is a 1967 and we have put a lot of work into it restoring it top to bottom.

The license plate says '67. It is a great looking Jeep, like Alkat says, we'd like to see it in person.
We are having a cruise in/meeting on July 12, this Saturday, at Lou's drive inn . Lou's is on Knoxville Ave. just south of Lake street in Peoria. You would be more than welcome to attend.

Re: New guy here
From what I see in the pics you did a very good job on the restoration.

Meetings are usually the first Saturday of every month, but with holidays and trips sometimes that changes, and of course we have other events. Our full calendar can be found here:
