Rockport

Post by dabomb5756 »

Who all is going to rockport? I might make my friend join your club with me, and we might be able to go.

He has 91 on 33's, i have 95, still stock on 31's.

I may not make it too far, but i might just ride with him.

Rockport is a great park... and don't worry about being stock for now. We have lots of stockers ride with us routinely and you can either bypass the tough stuff or give it a shot and the group will help you through if necessary.

I, however, will not be attending this month. Next one for me will probably be Cliff's in May or Attica in June.

well, my jeep is totaly stock, on 31 Land Terrains. They clot mud on them very easily.

And, the tires rub over any bump. hehe. I cant wait to get my 4 inch lift and 32 MT's on it.

O ya... The 4x4 doesnt work on it now either...

I tried puttin on a new vaccum switch on the tcase. But i think the lines are jsut cracked and have holes in em.

When i start wheelin it, i am gona just slide the collar over, and keep it like that so i have no worries.

My wife and I are planning on going. We will probably leave on Fri. camp overnight and will be at the park when it opens. Let us know if you want us to look for you or if you want to camp Fri. night. Of course weather permitting! We also plan on spending Sat. night and wheel some on Sun.

What are you doing to it? I thought you were leaving the lift kit you had on there, Derek.

Yes, I am, I found that with the larger tires I need to replace the gears. It looks like 4:88 is needed and since it is apart lockers will also be installed. The cost for this is why no Long Arm will be put on this year. I also may address some of the other "weak" points. Should be ready for the next trip

I'm planning on attending. Driving down Friday and camping at the park in town, weather permitting.
