Will, don't throw out the "bars" from the bottom of the old tub. I think they are hard to come by.

Are you referring to the Roll Bar, or am I missing something? We plan on keeping the front of the Tub, the Roll Bar, and I'm hanging onto the back to help repair my rear corners.
Thanks,

I think he means the factory CJ chrome trim pieces that run along the bottom of the tub under the door.

Darrell got his first taste as a driver doing some mild trails and hills last week. I hauled his Jeep over to Green Acres and we did a little trail riding, me in my YJ, and him in his CJ. He did great, except for breaking off a shock mount. Seems we missed the broken bump stop and in over compressed the shock and off came the bracket (not my weld, the Previous owners). We had a great time, and you can see some pictures/videos at: http://s917.photobucket.com/albums/ad19 ... ly%202011/
Thanks,

My brother has painted his Jeep, White rather than Red but it looks good. He also named it, GRIZZLY. His nickname as a kid was Grizzly Adams, and he uses it.

Darrell installed the rear fender flairs, the roll bar pads and a bikini top. Only things left is the "Jeep" decals and painting the wheels.

Just to update the CJ's current status, my Brother was itching to drive it this winter, so I've installed a BesTop Soft Half Top and Soft Doors!

Thanks Todd & Jill.

Jill, what it wasn't that hard, do I need to do it when I'm up for the January banquette? The hardest part was latching the CJ tailgate after installing the top, had to crawl in from the front to reach the latches.
Thanks,
Will

Will - I think Jill means she has a jeep that needs assembly, not just the top. You'll have to arrive a little earlier on banquet day.

See Will, you won't have to spend time on my top, cause I have a hard top and who am I kidding I always go top less, so I don't need help putting on my top. I just would like a tub on my Jeep that I could put a top on if I wanted to!! : )
