Future meetings?

I do not know about the rest of you but I for one would like to find another place to have our winter meetings.
The food at Goodfellows has gone downhill since the new owners have taken over.
We have thought about having our meetings at Brian's resturant, but it is a little far for some people and not sure if the smaller diner could handle us and his regular customers.
So if you are happy with Goodfellows post up or if you have a suggestion of another place post up too.
There are three things required for a new place. (my opinion)
1. Free, I personally do not see a need to pay for a place as long as we are ordering food.
2. Good food.
3. A backroom or a private room

I will call any place suggested and see if they are available.
Oh and this will not happen until after the elections, if we do decide on another place.

I agree that we should look for a new place. I think the service and food at the October meeting was awful and inexcusable.

How about EP's? They have room and at least better food.

I agree. The last winter meeting we had in the Spring, my order was either given to someone else or forgotten. When it finally showed, it still wasn't right. The sandwich wasn't even a cooked item.

EP's would be good. Lots of room there. I don't think they get a ton of lunch traffic either, especially on a weekend.

The Burger Barge is also opening a second location on Meadows Ave/ Rt 150 on other side of the bridge soon. Used to be VFW. Now looking for employees.

EPs would be a good place. It's good sized and has good food.

I'd say give it till Monday, that gives them the weekend to make a suggestion. We like ep's

Shouldn't we wait on a poll until we know that EP's and the B- Barge will allow us to conduct a meeting?

I did not want to pick a place and have people not like it.

Way Kathy and i see it,Goodfellows not all that good anymore..just R opinion. From reading this post,not many others care either for obvious reasons for the posting poll of a new meeting place.

Yes.
Yes this will not take place until after the banquet.
That way we can let everyone know where we will have the future meetings.
